Recent News

JUNE NEWS:

Realignment of departments and divisions is nearly complete.  Division and Department Chairs have been authorized to sign off on curriculum in their areas.  CurricUNET should be opened up for the launching of new courses and revisions during the first full week of July.

Please remember that the Academic Senate has approved the linking of course revisions to the Program Review cycle:

  • All programs which will undergo program review in 2011-12 should be getting ready to launch any necessary program or course revisions by the beginning of Fall 2010.
  • CRC will only review course revisions from departments that will be undergoing program review in 2011-12, unless required to comply with external regulatory needs or approved by the Office of Instruction (this includes changes required as a result of the Program Discontinuance process).

Administrative changes and new curriculum can be still be launched at any time.

MAY NEWS:

Please be aware that in order to change authorizations for new department/division chairs for the coming year, new curriculum will not be able to be launched from May 15 to June 30.  This will allow time for current chairs to clear their approval queues of all courses waiting for sign-offs, so that the approval process will function correctly.

All programs undergoing program review in 2011-12 should be getting ready to launch any necessary program or course revisions by the beginning of Fall 2010.

Course proposals (new and revised) may still be worked on after the May 15 deadline, but please wait to launch proposals until after July 1.
