REMINDERS:

For courses (new and revised) to be approved for Fall 2011, they must be launched by no later than Nov. 1, 2010.

All courses must be formatted correctly prior to being launched.

Lab Topics must be separate and distinct from Lecture Topics and must support the unit value/hours.

If a course is cross-listed, both courses must be launched at the same time.

Assignments must include examples of critical thinking and independent study in Reading, Writing, and Other out-of-class work required by the student and support the unit value (approximately 2 hours of homework per week for every 1 hour of lecture). Assignments must clearly tie to Methods of Evaluation and lead to at least one Learning Objective.

Prerequisites, corequisites, recommended preparation, and enrollment limitations must be validated by listing the specific skills from those courses that will support or enhance the success of the student.
