Beginning Wednesday, August 22, 2007, CurricUNET will be open for use and faculty may begin to use CurricUNET to input new and revised curriculum.

To check on the electronic paper trail for a proposal, click on "ALL PROPOSALS" and then the  icon. If a proposal is delayed in the system, please call or e-mail.

1) To review enrollment criteria for course prerequisites, click the "SEARCH" link on the main menu. Then, click on "ENROLLMENT CRITERIA" and the curricular area you want to view. CurricUNET information will be used for automatic prerequisite checking. Faculty should verify prerequisites. Corrections should be sent to CurricUNET@cod.edu.

2) The  symbol in All Proposals will allow anyone to view or print  information from all fields, whether or not filled in.

3) Initiator/sponsors of certificates and degrees must attach at least one document under the "Attach Files" button to complete proposals. Help buttons explain attachment options. After all boxes are completed, and at least one attachment is added, the "Audit" button will appear to launch the course.

4) College Curriculum Committee meetings for the 2010-2011 academic year will be held at 1:30 p.m. in SRC 1544 on the following dates: Sept. 17, Oct. 1, Nov. 5, Dec. 3, Jan. 21, Feb. 4, March 4, April 8 and May 6. Course initiator/sponsors should attend the CCC meeting when their curriculum is discussed. Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs Glenda Gallisath is CCC chair.

5) Library liaisons receive e-mail notification from CurricUNET in order to review curriculum proposals. Initiators no longer must attach librarians' e-mail responses in CurricUNET. Initiators still must list library resource needs under "Library Support" in the CurricUNET course proposal. PLEASE SUBMIT ANY LIAISON CHANGES TO CurricUNET@cod.edu

6) Curriculum will stop at the division curriculum committee and college curriculum committee until those groups are able to act on the proposals. PLEASE SUBMIT ANY MEMBERSHIP CHANGES TO willig@cod.edu or secara@cod.edu.

7) Initiators will be notified of discipline review comments through CurricUNET e-mail messages.
