A comprehensive overview of international business designed to provide both beginners and experienced business people with a global perspective on international trade including foreign investments, impact of financial markets, international marketing, and the operation of multi-national corporations. 54 hours lecture.

2. Analyze the essential factors that determine the success of each element of international business.
3. Develop and apply the inter-relationships of each elements of international business that are required for successful international business operation.

METHODS OF INSTRUCTION
Methods of instruction used to achieve student learning outcomes may include, but are not limited to:

- Presentation of lectures and discussions on the key elements of international business, in order for students to understand business environments, trade relations, financial systems, market entry opportunities and methods, marketing, operations, and management
- Cooperative/collaborative learning tasks and activities designed to assist students in better understanding of the essential factors that determine the success within each element of international business
- Case studies involving various entities involved in international business, in order for students to understand how to apply the inter-relationships of each elements of international business that are required for successful international business operation
- Learning tasks and activities designed to allow students to apply what they have learned to the creation of international business plan
- Instruction may take the form of online, hybrid, TV or other distance learning format

METHODS OF EVALUATION
Students will be evaluated for progress in and/or mastery of learning outcomes by methods of evaluation which may include, but are not limited to:

- The writing of international business plan demonstrating an understanding of key elements of international business, in order for students to understand business environments, trade relations, financial systems, market entry opportunities and methods, marketing, operations, and management
- Individual and group assignments designed to demonstrate successful understanding of the essential factors that determine the success within each element of international business
- Discussions designed to evaluate students’ understanding of the inter-relationships of each elements of international business that are required for successful international business operation
- Quizzes/examination designed to assess students’ ability to recall, critically analyze and apply key concepts and course content
- Participation as required by instructor to ensure progress in mastering the course content and involvement in collaborative learning projects
