Interactive seminar designed to augment students’ learning skills and experience in mathematics. May be taken a total of two times. 27 hours laboratory. (Non-degree credit course. Pass/No Pass only.)

COURSE CONTENT

  TOPICS
 
  1. The only focus of this course is to extend learning in the subject areas and to strengthen mathematics skills as taught in the corequisite courses. 
 
METHODS OF INSTRUCTION
Methods of instruction used to achieve student learning outcomes may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lectures/discussions/demonstrations
  • Videos/films/slides/audio tapes
  • Pair and small group discussion
  • Class exercises
  • Reports and papers
  • Handouts
  • Assigned text readings
 
METHODS OF EVALUATION
Students will be evaluated for progress in and/or mastery of learning outcomes by methods of evaluation which may include, but are not limited to:
